Our Terms and Conditions for Gown and Flower Preservation

Our terms and conditions for any preservation or display project are in place to clearly explain the process and delivery expectations for you, our customer. They are also there so that you can be confident that Sentimental Preservation will care for your keepsakes and mementos for you while they are in our care.

Once the price for preservation of the wedding gown is set, one-half of the total price shall be paid by Customer at the time of delivery of the wedding gown to Sentimental Preservation. Full payment of remaining balance shall be paid by Customer at the time Customer picks up preserved gown.

While all attempts to remove as much staining as possible will be made, Customer acknowledges and understands that Sentimental Preservation cannot guarantee that all stains will be removed from gown. Successful cleaning depends on type of fabric, type of stain and age of stain. Sentimental Preservation will not be responsible for stains that cannot be removed in the cleaning process.

Sentimental Preservation will repair or replace the monetary value of Customer’s gown (as stated below) in the event that the gown is damaged while in our care.

At the time that Customer picks-up preserved gown, Customer shall inspect the gown for any damage. Once Customer removes gown from the premises, Sentimental Preservation will not be responsible for the condition of the gown.

Due to limited space, Customer agrees to pick-up finished gown within 7 days of notification by Sentimental Preservation that gown is completed. In the event that Customer has not contacted and/or arranged for pick-up of gown within 14 days of notification that gown is completed, Sentimental Preservation shall charge customer a $20 storage fee for each additional week the gown remains on the premises. In the event that Customer does not contact Sentimental Preservation within 90 days of notification, Customer’s gown will be considered abandoned, gown will become property of Sentimental Preservation and Customer shall have no right to receive monetary reimbursement for gown.

In no event shall Sentimental Preservation become liable to Customer beyond the below-stated value of Customer’s gown. Customer releases Sentimental Preservation for all liability beyond such value.

The price for freeze-drying the flowers is non-refundable. Sentimental Preservation must receive full payment of this amount prior to processing flowers. One-half of the account balance shall be paid at the time Customer orders display. Full payment of remaining balance shall be paid by Customer at the time Customer picks-up flowers.

Customer acknowledges that floral preservation is a scientific process and that many factors affect how successful a certain preservation attempt will be. Simone’s Timeless Garden should be consulted in advance regarding Customer’s floral selection. If Customer chooses not to consult with Sentimental Preservation regarding the specific flowers to be preserved, Sentimental Preservation shall not be in any way responsible if the floral preservation is unsuccessful. Customer understands and agrees that Customer is responsible for payment of the cost of freeze-drying the flowers, regardless of the results.

Sentimental Preservation is not responsible for damage or loss of flowers due to power failure, fire, flood, equipment failure or any other acts of nature beyond our control. However, Sentimental Preservation shall immediately notify Customer and may offer to refund Customer’s payment or to replace the flowers, at our discretion.

The date that Customer delivers flowers to Sentimental Preservation is the Reservation Date. The Reservation Date should be as soon after the event as possible to ensure the best results possible. Even under the best circumstances, the flowers will change color. As time passes, the flowers will become softer and more antique looking.

Due to limited space, Customer agrees to pick-up finished flowers within 7 days of notification by Sentimental Preservation. In the event that Customer has not contacted and/or arranged for pick-up of flowers within 14 days of notification that flowers are completed, Sentimental Preservation shall charge customer a $20 storage fee for each additional week the flowers remain on the premises. In the event that Customer does not contact Sentimental Preservation within 90 days of notification, Customer’s flowers will be considered abandoned, flowers will become property of Sentimental Preservation and Customer shall have no right to receive monetary reimbursement for flowers nor to receive monies previously paid.

In no event shall Sentimental Preservation become liable to Customer beyond the amount of monies paid by Customer to Sentimental Preservation. Customer releases Sentimental Preservation for all liability beyond such value.
