How It Works
Floral preservation is a process that extracts moisture from the flowers creating dehydrated or dried flowers.
We use two processes: freeze drying and a sand vacuum. Freeze drying uses extreme cold and 4 to 5 weeks. The sand vacuum uses extreme heat and takes about 3 to 5 days.
~ All flowers will change color. Keep in mind that these are real dried flowers and nature plays a big part in this process. Over time, your flowers will take on a softer antique look.
~ While most flowers freeze dry beautifully, some flowers like chrysanthemums, dahlias and bouvardia may not freeze dry successfully. Check with your florist if you are unsure of your flowers or call us at Sentimental Preservation for more information.
